Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data RafayLabs collects through rafaylabs.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. RafayLabs is a software studio based in Pakistan, and is the party responsible for this data.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, your email address, the service you are interested in and the message you write. We receive this only when you submit the form.
- Email and WhatsApp: whatever you send us if you contact us that way.
- Analytics: if analytics is switched on for you (see "Cookies and analytics" below), Google Analytics records the pages you view, roughly where you are (country and city), your device and browser type, and how you reached the site. It does not tell us your name or email address.
- Server logs: our hosting provider records standard technical data, such as your IP address and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.
We do not ask for, and do not want, sensitive personal information through this site.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and arrange a call, at your request.
- To understand which pages are useful, so we can improve the site.
- To keep the site secure and working.
Where the law asks for a legal basis: we handle enquiries because you asked us to and in order to take steps toward a possible contract; we run analytics with your consent where consent is required; and we keep the site secure because we have a legitimate interest in doing so.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to measure visits. It sets cookies in your browser so that it can tell one visit from another.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, these cookies are set only after you choose Accept on the cookie banner. Elsewhere, analytics is on by default. Wherever you are, you can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of any page.
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use your data for advertising.
- Your cookie choice is saved in your browser's local storage, so we do not ask again on every visit.
- A note that you have seen the opening animation is kept in session storage and is cleared when you close the tab.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the services that make the site work:
- Google (Google Analytics), for visit statistics.
- Slack, where contact form messages are delivered to us.
- Hostinger, which hosts the site.
These providers may process data in countries other than yours, including outside the European Economic Area. Our own handling of your data takes place in Pakistan.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: for as long as needed to reply and to keep a record of our dealings with you. Ask us to delete yours and we will.
- Analytics data: for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account, after which Google deletes it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to withdraw consent at any time and to complain to your local data protection authority.
To make a request, email us at the address below. We will reply within a reasonable time.
Children
This site is for businesses and founders. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
